Breast Cancer Resources
Let me tell you how I earned MY Street Cred…
I was 42 and on vacation when my doctor called to tell me the news. I was diagnosed with hormone positive, HER2 negative breast cancer, and it had spread to my lymph nodes. I underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.
Each survivor’s story, treatment plan, etc, is unique. And even though no two stories are alike, there’s something about our beautiful community that allows us to identify with each other in a deep and wide way. My experience, I feel, has earned me the Street Cred to be able to speak life and encouragement and offer suggestions to those in earlier stages of the journey.
Hopefully you’ll find some meaningful resources on this page that I lovingly curated for you. Feel free to leave me a message at the bottom of this page. I’d love to hear from you!

Her2 Beauty Bar
In 2018 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to understand the hows and why’s of this occurrence.Â
Eating healthy, maintaining stress levels are great, but also what you put on your skin can affect the way your body responds. Did you know that the skin is like a sponge and in 26 seconds your skin can absorb products applied to the skin into the bloodstream! So what you put on your skin can matter just as much as what you put in your body. That’s how HER2 Beauty Bar was born!Â
